Hi, I really don't know if this is the right place to ask for such help, but I'm trying to update a amarokscript with no luck. I got always the same error message: Please specify a download file, and that is exactly what I'm doing. Something wrong I'm missing? (yes, I check the permissions and fill all required fields, as always do).

Unfortunately one quite large problem with kde-apps.org is that it is run by a 3rd party, using a proprietary platform over which KDE has no control or access to.

We cannot help you i'm afraid, you'll need to contact the site administrator.

Ok, thank you. I'll do you suggested. But sounds so bad. I mean, knewstuff depends on those websites...

Technically, knewstuff only depends on the protocol, which is open. So nothing prevents people from running their own server to provide GHNS sources (I do for example) instead of using kde-apps.org.

I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.
