Hello!
Is there a way to disable fast user switching?
I wish I could hide it in the lockscreen... :-\

Thanks!

There are two ways to do this:
1) Disable fast user switching in the display manager (usually KDM). I'm not sure how to do this however.
2) Restrict the action "switch_user" using the Kiosk framework. Information about this can be found on Techbase.

Thanks for your fast reply!
I tried point 1 already, but also didn't find any options.
I am using Fedora 18 with latest updates.

I will check out point 2. If someone finds a "easy solution" please post.

Thanks!

As a further note, option #2 should also remove the fast user switching option from all other parts of KDE. The Kiosk framework can be used to lock down a number of KDE applications in numerous ways.
