Is there a way to set the page margins permanently?
Right now I have to alter them every time I start knode up. TIA |

Is this for display or printing purposes?

Hm - I suspect this may not be possible - KDE reads the default settings from CUPS though, so you could try changing them there instead.

I am astonished.
Anyway, CUPS doesn't appear to have its own settings for margins. Most Qs and As on this subject refer back to lp and its command line options. Not much help unless printing a file. Since knode offers default margin settings, where does it store them? Incidentally both kate and kwrite have configurable defaults in katerc and kwriterc respectively (although the section heading in the latter refers to kate). |

I've examined the code and as far as I can tell, Qt provides this functionality - and retrieves the margins itself. From what I could tell, the default margins are hardcoded unfortunately.

Thanks. If I could find the time I would love to hack it.
