Hi.
When I have installed KDE 4.12.0 on Linux Mint 16 there is not Printer Configuration Utility. When I manually installled system-config-printer-kde Printer Configuration Utility appeared and printer started work. But Printer Configuration Utility itself does not do anything and display next: |

Is PyKDE4 and PyQt4 installed on your system?

PyKDE4 was installed, PyQt4 I've installed. But it doesn't help per se.

If you run System Settings from a terminal (like Konsole) is anything relevant printed to the terminal when you open that control module?

The problem is solved by reinstallind Linux Mint KDE. PS: I don't know how to run Printer Config Applet in terminal. |

Okay, your system was likely missing an important package - or one was outdated.
For future reference, to run System Settings from a terminal, open Konsole and then enter in the following:
KDE Sysadmin
