I am quite new to KDE. I just installed a KDE desktop via Crouton on my Acer Chromebook c720. I am trying to figure how to download software. I have heard the words "Muon" and "KPackage" but I have not yet found out how to find them. Might I ask help?

welcome - it's important that you let us know what flavor of Linux and what version you're running for us to be of assistance, especially when it concerns things like package mangement where different distributions sometimes use different methods

I'm guessing you installed Kubuntu and guessing it comes with Muon installed (don't use, so don't know) - try alt+F2 and in the Krunner box type muon then hit enter
