Hi all,
Using Linux Mint 16 "Petra". Did apt-get install umbrello - click icon under "Programming", nothing happens. Attemt to start from cl gives:
and then apparently nothing. Then, as per another post -
Anybody have any idea what's going on? TIA ps. I found the other thread using the search box but I'm hoping I won't have to log in as a new user whenever I need to use this. And, I posted to the Mint forum with 0 response and tried using the 'umbrello' webchat irc but got nowhere. Funny enough it works fine in WinDoze. |

Please run "kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental" to flush out any caching problems, then logout and back in again.

Thank you - that seems to have worked.
Someone else on the internet - "Easy Tricks Portal" - suggested that the problem was due to umbrello trying to start with '0' width and '0' height and to append "--geometry 600x400+0+0" to the "umbrello" command and that also worked. I believe your method is probably 'cleaner' so I'll go with that if it 'sticks'. |
