Ever since a few days, Konversation which i haven't used for sometime, starts up by itself after iogin, it is not on the kde autostart list, and i have found no option on Konversation itself that makes it autostart, why would it be doing this?

Check System Settings -> Startup and Shutdown -> Session Management. What's your setting under "On Login"? If you start from the previous session, try to either change it to "Start with an empty session" or add Konversation to the applications to be excluded.
