In the earlier versions of KDE, NetworkManager had some UI for scanning WiFi networks which showed estimated distances to each connection point with radial ranges. Is that UI still present somewhere or it was removed? I'm using KDE 4.14.1 at present.

Hello,

The Network panel applet was overhauled and this feature is not present anymore. If you miss it, go and file a bug in the bugtracker (bugs.kde.org).

Not that I miss it a lot, but it was a small fun feature and I wasn't sure if it's still hidden somewhere or removed. Thanks for clarifying. I doubt it's worth bugging developers about it if they found some reasons to drop it.
