Hey Folks! I am a bit buffled right now and I think I need your Help! Everything worked like a charm in KDE 4 but I face some Problems with KDEConnect in KDE 5.

I am on Arch Linux, Plasma 5.2, kdeconnect-frameworks-git from AUR (r681.cd62979-1 if this is a version Number - check https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/kdec ... works-git/ ), KDE Frameworks 5.6 and KDEconnect on Android version 0.7.3.6.

Most of the stuff works out of the box - paring, ping, media player controls, battery state, notifications etc.

But the most impressive stuff just wont work. I cannot mount the storage of my android using sshfs anymore! Also I cannot share files with the PC.

when I try to mount the storage my following error appears (free translated from german to english):

and:

KDEInit could not start "/usr/lib/kf5/kioexec".

/usr/lib/kf5/kioexec is present on the system and is executable.

the Version of "kio" is 5.6

When I try to share files from the phone to the PC the only thing that can be transmitted is the file name. Everything else usually gets lost. The result is a file with a size of 0.0 bits.

I already tried to delete all kdeconnect-related content inside my home-dir, but I did not helped at all. What can I do to get KDEconnect working?

I've similar problems. File browsing and sending files don't work...

I can send files, but the transfer is always incomplete. No browsing.

I have exactly the same problem. Moreover the tray icon does not show my phone as paired, but I can do the same tasks that you mentioned.
Did you manage to fix it? I am using kdeconnect from git and Plasma 5.3 on Opensuse 13.2
