I run another linux server on a different machine which I frequently have to SSH into. Right now, I just set up a shortcut with the command konsole -e "ssh me@myserver" which obviously just starts up an instance of Konsole..

Is there any way I can fire up a Yakuake terminal instance (tab) with custom commands?

Thanks

You could try something like
Code: Select all
qdbus org.kde.yakuake /yakuake/sessions addSession
qdbus org.kde.yakuake /yakuake/sessions runCommand "ssh me@myserver"
