Hello
I have a few questions on the device notifier. 1) Can the list of actions be reordered? eg In kde4 the list was had open with filemanager first, not it is last. 2) I always enabled kde-extras and installed quick usb formatter (I use many usb drives). I installed the program, but it does not appear on the menu as in the past. How do I add it? Thanks fro any help JOhn Kilbert |

this is what gets installed in KDE 4, you can try duplicating it in 5, have no idea how/why things are ordered
Device Notifier Settings -> Device Actions -> Add -> |

In Plasma5 it's not in the device notifier's settings, only in systemsettings5 ("Configure Desktop")->Device Actions (where it already was in KDE4 too). Or you could also just symlink or copy the corresponding file from /usr/share/kde4/apps/solid/actions/ to /usr/share/solid/actions/. |

Thanks Wolfi323 & google01103
Was successful. In suse 13.x it always did all that for me. Now I know how. |

Well, that "quick usb formatter" you installed is apparently designed/packaged for KDE4. KF5 uses different folders so doesn't see the installed files. We probably should add a symlink to the package so that it works out of the box with KF5/Plasma5 too... |
