Cannot disable Plasma 5 clipboard MIME actions

I have "Enable MIME-based actions" unticked in the clipboard's config.

When I copy a URL, I still get the Klipper clipboard popup offering me to do something with the link.
Am I misunderstanding what this option does or is this a bug I should report? (if anyone can recreate on their end)

Thanks.

Plasma5 has a new clipboard applet in the system tray that's enabled by default. Probably it's this that opens that popup? Klipper's configuration does not affect that plasmoid.

Try to right-click on the icon in the system tray (but not klipper) to get to its settings, or disable it completely in the "System Tray Settings".

You're right - it's not technically kipper. I should fix the original post.

That's what I'm using and I'm changing its config to ignore MIME-based actions.
I don't want to disable it altogether because I do use it for custom-defined actions.

I am having this issue as well. Since this question does not appear to have been answered, I ask again, How do I disable Plasma 5 MIME actions?

Ooops, I misunderstood... My problem is that I do NOT want clipboard MIME actions, and the "Enable MIME based actions" box is already unchecked. So, what do I do now?
