Hello everyone,

I am not sure whether this is KDE related or Manjaro or Lightning related. However under Xubuntu 16.04 I did not have the following described issue.

I recently installed Manjaro 16.08 KDE and configured Thunderbird and Lightning.
There I created a new calendar which I finally wanted to export as an ics file.

Issue

The export dialog "KMozillaHelper" gives me no choice but to export the calendar as an HTML file only.
This was not the case on my previous system Ubuntu 16.04.

What did I do to solve the issue?
I removed the old profile folders and reinstalled Thunderbird and Lightning but without success.

System:
Manjaro 16.08 64 bit, KDE 5.7.3, Thunderbird 45.2.0, Lightning 4.7

Does someone experience a similar issue under KDE? How can I fix it?
I'm looking forward to seeing your answers.

Kind Regards

Hiya,

Is that the Live git build of kmozillahelper - which supports Qt5 or the legacy 0.6.4 Qt4 version?
A feature I never use... ;) Well actually I hardly ever use thunderbird these days...
  • Is that the Events and Tasks tab / Export... ??
    or
  • Open Calendar in a tab / RHS mouse click on a specific Calendar / Export Calendar

I'm the only person, for Gentoo, packaging kmozillahelper and KDE-patched version of firefox and thunderbird.
So I'm quite, horribly familiar, with this dirty hack! :-\
