Hi everyone, I'm trying to install mycroft plasmoid but the plasmoid only show this error:
Error: Could not load QML: file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.mycroftplasmoid/contents/ui/main.qml:22:1: module "QtQuick.Controls" version 2.0 is not installed. Can anybody help me? |

Hi!
I had a short look at the install script. This should have thrown some errors on Kubuntu. As I looked up in an 16.04 Installation, the package missing should be installed with
Perhaps there are missing other ones or unconfigured packages. On failure run

Could you provide more information and post the output of the running script in a Codebox?
Are you using Kubuntu 16.04 as LTS or did you upgrade to a newer Plasma-Version with the backports-ppa? -> if you're version is lower than current 17.04 it won't work: See plasma-mycrofts readme for informations. |

Sorry for the delay, I'm using Kubuntu 16.04.02 with plasma 5.8.5 (backports-ppa) , I see this in the output of instalation: Could not locate package qml-module-qtquick-controls2 Like you say it can't be installed in Kubuntu 16.04. ![]() |

Well, give 17.04 a try. Actually I have none to test, but it seems to be more stable and usable than 16.04. |
