KRename & regular expressions

Wed Nov 01, 2017 7:55 pm
In the KDE4 days, Krename had a regex editor. I don't know if it was a plug-in or not, but I don't have this anymore.
So, I try to use a simple regular expression in order to rename files like the following:

Code: Select all
20171001-img_-0.jpg]

The regex I use is:
Code: Select all
-([\d].)jpg

and the replace is:
Code: Select all
\1jpg

According to https://regex101.com/, this regex works.

But not in KRename. Is the regex functionality there or not?
The manual is non-existent since it's for version 3, and we talk about version 4.0.9...

Any help would be appreciated.
