Krita isn't detecting the pressure sensitivity of my pen. When I test the pen sensitivity with the pressure test on the huion driver it works fine, but not on krita, which means the tablet itself is detecting the pressure. I also tried to use krita on the same laptop with a wacom tablet and krita did seem to be detecting the pressure sensitivity with that tablet. I've also tried drawing on another program called sketchbook express and the sensitivity seems to be working fine on that. I tried using a different nib and pen and no difference. I checked to see if pressure sensitivity was enabled on krita and it is, but whether I turned it off or on made no difference anyway.
please help, I don't want to have to switch to a different program. |

I answered you there already: viewtopic.php?f=139&t=155535&p=406638#p406638, but if pressure sensitivity is not working at all, it probably won't help you; and I wonder if the API choice is even present in the Mac version of Krita.
Generally, Huion on Mac is a problem (for various reasons). You can try to install different version of a driver. You can try to check what Tablet Tester says (considering your problem changed, Tablet Tester messages probably changed, too). You can try to change the API if it's possible on Mac. Also you can try to contact Huion (definitely mention you're using Krita). They are quite supporting of Krita and they might be able to help you providing beta version of driver for example. Here is their post on deviantart of all places: https://www.deviantart.com/huion/journa ... -439442607 , but you probably can write to them directly on service@huion.com (provide all necessary information like version of Krita, of OS, of tablet driver and so on). |
