KArchive Windows build fails on bzip2

Wed Dec 12, 2018 12:08 pm
Hi everyone.
First of all apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place. I've been having problems building KArchive with bzip2 support on windows. You can see the entire build log (including all the dependencies) here: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/VSRonin ... s/20954037.

The problem is in this piece.
Code: Select all
-- Found BZip2: C:/projects/kde-api-win-build/bzip2/lib/bzip2.lib (found version "1.0.5")
-- Looking for BZ2_bzCompressInit
-- Looking for BZ2_bzCompressInit - not found

I don't know why it doesn't find BZ2_bzCompressInit and I have no idea how to solve it.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,

EDIT:
Looks like it's due to CHECK_SYMBOL_EXISTS(BZ2_bzCompressInit "bzlib.h" BZIP2_NEED_PREFIX) failing. Nothing to do with KDE so consider this topic closed.
