My goal : To use an instrument to control a notebook using "frequency recognition".


I've created a clean audio chanel using a mixer to conect a guitar to the notebook. Now i must to download or create a simon's scenario in order to make it recognize frequency ranges, like the range between 246.94 hz and 277.18 hz . So every time i play a note in that range, simon would understand it as one same value.
But i would like to know in advance, if my task is possible, before a continue. As i didnt found any info about frequency-recognition related to simon it on google , wich is never a good sign...
