The problem I am having is Muon GUI rebuilding the package list every time I open it. There was a bug report issued here in Ubuntu; but all fixes and issues I do not see a fix that works.

I have tried everything they have listed. I have went to the KDE.org store and download the Gnome file and ran that. I've went to Github and cloned it from there and ran it. I've reinstalled xapian. I've tried to run a deb file with Gdebi. Nothing works. Do I need to modify/add an index or mod root privileges (not to good at this but will try)? Not sure what to do. I hope something can be resolved so I can install or remove programs without the wait.

There is a bug report there kde-bugs #390476; but not sure what that is.
