Run command when launching application

Is there a way to run a command(example:env) when I launch a certain apps?
I think GNOME has this feature.

Some of my apps need a certain environment variable(s) that will broke another apps if I run it universally.

I tried to export the variable by editing /usr/bin/"apps" But it will get reset every time the apps upgrade

You can enter it directly in Krunner (Alt+F2), or edit the menu and make an entry with the necessary variables: Right click on the Application Launcher -> Edit Applications

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
