Hi All,

I just tried KDE Connect for the first time, and it has been an interesting journey:

Whenever I start up KDE Connect on my phone, my router (Asus GT-AC5300) reboots - every single time. Eventually I turned off trusted networks on it (unticked "Allow all"), and at least my network remained operational.

Next problem: With KDE Connect running, my KDE Plasma becomes unresponsive for about 30-40 seconds, every few minutes. Perhaps that is whenever KDE Connect polls the network? I had no issues whatsoever before installing KDE Connect, so it is a top suspect.

So this leads me to ask a few questions:
1. Is there a way to use KDE Connect on my phone without adding a trusted network? I tried to connect a new device by adding my desktop's IP address, but that did not seem to do anything.
2. What is KDE Connect doing that would cause my router to die? It runs Linux internally, so maybe I could do some diagnostics...
