Hello all,

I've been using KDE connect for some while on Ubuntu Linux, mainly to send/receive files to/from my Samsung Galaxy mobile
It worked fine till I upgraded Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to 22.04 LTS.
After upgrade KDE connect showed the mobile phone as disconnected.
I trued to unpair and then pair it again.
When I try to pair the following error is returned:
error trying to pair: This device cannot be paired because it is running an old version of KDE
I've updated KDE connect on the mobile. Version: 1.19.1
OS also does not have any updates available.

Any idea?

Regards,

Hello,
have you solved the problem in the meantime?

I would try to remove and reinstall both applications. If you don't have any important data, you can also try to delete the "kdeconnect" folder in /home/enrico/.config/kdeconnect
