[solved] Vlc video embedding problem

I am using openssuse 11.Vlc doesnt show video in the main interface.I checked the embeded video config but it doesnt work..Help me..

Probably an openGL problem. Switch to X11 video output.

I'm having same issues as op and switching to X11 didn't help

In VLC preferences main screen, make sure that "Integrate video in interface" (under category "Interface type") is checked.

It's a bug in the release - I just updated to todays Packman rpm's and the video is once again embedded
