Have any of you seen anything like this:



It always seems to happen when I open KeePassX, although in 7 or 8 years of using Linux, I've never seen a problem like this dependent on an app before. After closing KeePassX, the fonts gradually clear up, as I refresh window contents, etc etc. The fonts in Firefox's menu bar will corrupt, but the fonts in a web page will not. I've reinstalled the font (ttf-dejavu) and several libraries, just in case. I don't think that it's a problem with the video card overheating--the fan works and is clear of dust, and the system can be up for minutes or weeks and this will come and go. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
