Hi, I would like to know how to run C++ script with Kate.
I am new to C++programming, when I copy the script from the internet to kate and Click External tools->Run script, nothing happens.
Does anything missed?
Please help me!Thanks.

Hi. Kate is a text editor. C++ is not a script language. You have to compile it with a C++ compiler, for example g++ in a Linux environment. I recommend to first read a C++ beginner tutorial and use kate just as the text editor for writing the source. If you are more familiar with C++ programming perhaps you can use C++ plugins within kate or kdevelop as an IDE.
