Every time that I run Kate I have to turn on dynamic word wrap for every file.
I have found an option in the Kate settings that would allow me to turn on turn static word wrap on by default, but there doesn't seem to be any equivalent for dynamic word wrap. Am I missing something? (I am running Kate on Windows Vista.) Thanks. |

My guess is that dynamic word wrap is supposed to be the default when static word wrap is not enabled.
Smells like a bug. Cheers, _

I moved ~/.kde/share/config/katerc to a backup and now dynamic word wrap is the default behaviour.
You could also try to modify the config file and change Dynamic Word Wrap = false to "true" maybe that would work too. |

The default behavior seems to be
(in KDE 4.6.5 at least) changing it to
did the trick. br HPS |
