How do I get mouse gesture?

Sun Feb 08, 2009 10:52 pm
One of the features I miss the most from the good old days is definitely browsing with mouse gestures. I've heard that khotkey was broken back in 4.1.x and it would be back eventually, but I've used 4.2 for a while now and I still don't know to get mouse gestures to work. There's little talk about it. So, does anyone how to use mouse gestures? Thanks! :-)

Well, I am lost.

these might help explain and resolve 'Setting mouse gestures with EasyStroke and Gestikk' http://www.linux.com/feature/148943

BUT if it's needed primarily for web browsing Opera has it embedded and there is a FF addon.

Apparently mouse gestures will be back for 4.3 - according to the developer it's in SVN already, albeit in a buggy state.

Until 4.3 arrives EasyStroke probably is your best bet.
