when i type

but i m not able to eecute neither kcron nor knetworkconf. i m running kde 4.1 pl help

maybe library incompatability in that kdeadmin is 4.2 and you're running kde 4.1, you should try running commad in konsole and posting the error messages displayed.

ohh.. my kde got upgraded to 4.2.. sorry i dnt notice that earlier...

kuser and ksystemlog are working fine. but when i try to execute kcron or knetworkconf i get a not found error

They are both System Settings modules, you'll find them in system settings.
KCron is the "Scheduled tasks" module or something similar, and knetworkconf is in the Network section.
