I'm a maintainer of web site of my scout group and I just wanted to update the site when I noticed that whatever I do I can't get this characters to appear right: č š ž.
In which ever format I save the html file the characters still get rendered as ???. In pursuit to see what kind of bug it it, I tested Kate, Kwrite and Open Office writer. A html document written in Kate or Kwrite is rendered as ??? but the on in Open Office is rendered correctly. So what should I do to get Kate (or and Kwrite) to save the file correctly?

This is because HTML requires escape codes for some characters, especially those not in the normal alphabet ( I think HTML might not support anything outside ASCII )
A list is available here: http://www.theukwebdesigncompany.com/ar ... acters.php

Thanks even though I recall not having to use special characters before this will do for now!
