Please ensure that you are a member of the needed group to access cdrom devices. On SUSE, there is the 'cdrom' group.
KDE will not be able to manage power settings or detect batteries unless HAL is running, so please ensure that it is active.

Your system D-Bus configuration has been damaged, preventing HAL and NetworkManager from functioning. Therefore KDE will not be able to manage your network or detect your hardware until this problem is corrected. Please contact your distribution for assistance with this issue.

Hi!
![]() I repaired D-Bus and the deamon is starting correctly but I cant see anywhere HAL daemon ( is it listed in ps x or htop? ) but bash-3.1$ /usr/sbin/hald --daemon=yes --use-syslog giving me no errors. This is a case for X-Files ![]() ![]() X clients problem: I can only open some programs for example: Aptana, Firefox, Thundebird, Kadu and if I try to open something else it gives me: Xlib: connection to :0.0 refused by server Xlib: maximum number of clients reached I change configuration to --clients 1024 from 128 and this dont help me ;/ ( i dont remember what file i reconfigured :P hehe :P ) |

All X configuration *should* be stored in /etc/X11/xorg.conf
