I got a problem, when I turn on my PC kdm doesn't show its login screen. I have to login to console as root and restart kdm, which of course is very annoying.
Then when I want to turn of my PC, I have to shutdown it from KDE, but that just brings me back to my console, where I have to halt it manually as root again. Which is even more annoying ![]() Any ideas? I think that kdmrc is configured OK, especially since "/etc/init.d/kdm restart" does the trick. |
