Using the SUMIF() function produces Err508. I have tried over 40 different combinations to get anything but a Err508, Err509.... I searched web and nt too many peopl posting bugs for this.
I am using =SUMIF(L2:L32;"=x";E2:E32) where Column E are the numbers that i want to sum if there is an "x" in corresponding column L. I even tried the generic exampl ein the documentation but this function just doesn't work in any form period. I am guessing something wrong with my install. Any clues? |

Sorry for the post, but I am one of those guys who cant find the answer for hours, and then within seconds of posting my problem i find the answer myself. Now even though i did try using commas in my formula before i posted, it didnt work until after I posted. anyway. The answer is: The documentation is old/wrong. Formulas need commas, instead of semi-colons.
