Hi,
It seemed to be obvious -- I configure a mouse, app stores somewhere the config. But I cannot find it anywhere, I also searched source files for "save" or "open" phrases, no luck. Background story: on one computer I can configure mouse, on the other not -- the wizard dialog "next" button is not operational (but enabled). All software seems to be the same (the only difference is 64bit -- working, 32bit -- the one not working), so I try to find config file for kdebluetooth and edit it manually to add the mouse. Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers,

KDE applications usually store their configuration under <KDEHOME>/share/config/<appname>rc or <KDEHOME>/share/apps/<appname>/
<KDEHOME> can be retrieved with the Konsole command kde4-config --localprefix <appname> would be kbluetooth4 in this case.

Thank you, but I checked
~/.kde4 ~/.kbluetooth4 directories already. In case of first one, no sign of "bluetooth" there, in the last directory there is no single file (empty directory). |

Does creating a new user then configuring it under that user enable the mouse to function?

You just killed me
![]() I created now new user account, for it wizard allowed me to click "next", so I was able to configure mouse. After that I tried previous account, mouse worked, so I deleted the new account and I have mouse working. So, it looks like kdebluetooth stores config files not per user but global (per system). Thank you very much for the solution. |
