Hello,
I would like to explain briefly the only real reason why I am still forced to use KDE3 and not "the amazing KDE4": old style search of a file on my hard drive!
With KDE3, the program "kfind3" is integrated into konqueror, so I can search some pictures matching the filter, for example, "*kde*.*" and immediately see the preview of these files, very useful!
With KDE4, the program "kfind4" runs only on its own window and the only way to view the results it's only with a detailed list, no more files preview.
It's not a terrible lack or I'm missing something? an option to set the preferred view mode in kfind4 would make me happy...

I think KDE4 is a masterpiece of engineering software. I swear.

(sorry for my "google-translate" english :|)

I can do that, but isn't here the right place? :undecided:

Feel free to raise issues and discuss them here, but as a rule of thumb if you want them fixed it's a good idea to file an actual bug report - I personally don't like fixing bugs that don't have bug reports as it's burdensome to keep track of them (and many devs feel the same way) :) Also, not all relevant devs will find your comment hidden away here on a forum :)
