Is Kid3 still being actively developed? I tried it a few days ago and it just kept popping up new windows like crazy. It obviously hadn't been ported to qt4 at all. I thought it would be a nice tool to easily and quickly change my id3 tags/album art in my mp3's. If I had any qt/C++ knowledge I'd gladly help make it better

The version I'm using is a KDE4 app, but I'm not sure how often it's updated. My version is 1.1 though.

i'm running 1.2
to op - if you open kid3 from within a file manager a kid3 window will open for each highlighted mp3, you should only higlight and right-click on a single file (same as in the qt version). |

Wow I feel so stupid:( I had selected all of my music earlier, but yeah it works. I don't see an easy way to change the album art from a file in my Pictures folder. I don't want to use Amazon or anything, I just want to change the front cover like Easytag can do by using a .jpg from a local directory. Am I missing something, or is there not such a feature?

in the tag 2 corner, very bottom, is "Drag album artwork here" - just drag and drop your .jpg. A "picture" field will be added to the tag (note: you should highlight all mp3's before the drop, the actual picture will only display when only 1 mp3 is selected) |
