KPackageKit doesn't ask password

Hi all,
I have a question about KPackageKit: I'm new to Kde, I'm using kubuntu, and I'm seeing that KPackageKit NEVER asks for my password. Is that normal? Is it secure? Thank you very much. |

Go to systemsettings or personal settings -> Advanced -> Policykit authorization and look for stuff related to packagekit. You should be able to set it to require a password there, but do so at your own risk.
