How many keyfiles do I need/should I have?
I use a keyfile to protect my KMyMoney data, can I use this same file for my Launchpad account or should I create a separate keyfile? Thanks Nick

I don't see any reason to use more than one. The safety of your data protected by a gpg key depends entirely on you keeping safe your private key - something that in normal use will never be transmitted anywhere. Without access to your private key, no-one can access the files that the key protects.
The flip side, of course, is that if you lose the private key, you can't access the files either, so do backup onto some medium that is kept away from your computer.

Thanks that helps, it also makes life a lot easier if there's no need to manage multiple keys.
For some reason I got the impression you needed different keys for different things and this was causing me a few issues getting set-up on Launchpad.
