Hello,
I use kwrite to, duh, write my code (web pages; php, css html, xhtml etc). I used to use (in the old windows days) either Notepad ++ or HTMLkit (even wrote some plugins for HTMLkit)... Any ways,,, Editing a purely text (HTML) page via konqueror ftp that is to be included into a php page later, so there is not a doc type set in the head etc.. Step back a bit; my system is openSuSE 11.2, KDE 4.3.4, Mozilla Namoroka 3.6b6x (firefox) and kwrite is 4.3.4 'release 2' (All up to date) and I have it set (the system) for both English (EN) and Russian (RU, РУ (Русский)). No problem there... BUT.... I've noticed when I am writing within a comment (rem or remark statment)
So, what should be Скачать looks like
Just FYI (фуи) I've posted other oddities about kwrite, but don't get real input back. I'm sure that the 'replier(s)' is(are) honestly trying to help, but.... I use kwrite Everyday, All day.. It's what I write (code) with.. F* dreamstealer, GoneDead and please, BackDoor.... Too Slow, to cumbersome, they run on windowless and the code, what a joke. Thank you in advance, Спасибо, Landis. |

If the text appears correct elsewhere, then this is likely a bug in KWrite's encoding detection.
