I wonder if other people are also experiencing problems with Skype (2.1.0.81) under KDE 4.4. With KDE 4.3 Skype was working perfectly, but now the recordings are distorted to the point you don't understand anything and colors of the webcam (uvc) are similarly messed up.

maybe it's a problem with your distribution. for me it's working perfectly in fedora 12 and arch

Working fine for me as well after having upgraded from 4.3 to 4.4.1 in Kubuntu 9.10.

I'm on 4.3.5, but skype 2.1.0.81 takes 50% of system resources and push the cpu near boiling point.
2.1.0.47 behaves better. Let's hope they release the source code for the Linux client (they are promising this since November...)
