I've checked the preferences, I've searched the help file, I've googled, I've searched this site, but I can't find where to turn off the display of alternate lines in a different colour. i.e. one line is white background and the next is a pale lavender blue. I'm using detailed view. I want either a plain white background or I want to tone down the colour to only just being visible. It looks like I've selected alternate items.

Thanks, that fixed it.
But why did it change from white on an update? I'm puzzled. Thought this sort of thing was not supposed to get changed. |

It is probable that the change was shipped in response to a bug report regarding lack of contrast between items.
