Dolphin and sftp

Thu May 13, 2010 11:06 am
Hi!

Is there any way to close a dolphin sftp session? I use it happily, but today i discovered, that if close the dolphin shared view, the session still remains.

I would recommend running "killall kio_sftp" in Konsole to resolve this. The connection should be automatically closed as KIO operates on a file rather than host/protocol model however...

Well, I think Dolphin should keep a list of it's connections, maybe a in a new menu. And in this menu i can choose one from the living sessions, and i can close them. (Like in krusader) Should i fill a bug report?

I would say that if a user intends to close a session, there should be an option to do that. If either the means to do that are not available, or the implied option does not do that, then there is definitely a "bug" running around!

I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here.
