I added the hindi wx layout from Keyboard settings in System Settings (KDE4)

I am trying to type in Hindi and I found the keymap here:

http://mirror.umoss.org/mozdev/indic..._keyboard.html

For the life of me, I cannot understand what the conceited symbols that are supposed to map to Devnagri symbols are supposed to mean.

For example, aOY is supposed to map to ऑ - can someone explain me what this aOY is?
Similarly, there is w_r which maps to त्र - now what is this w_r.

I have been beating my head against this for quite some time - would be grateful if someone could explain this.

The link does not work; so cannot help. Can you re-enter it?
