I (well, one that I know of) have these ideas I'd like to share;

- a button to render (if installed) abc/ly e.a. icons, so the icon shows the first page as it does with plain text files

- To show something somewhere on the icon in case of a png or other transparency enabled graphic format, a tiny four block square in case of an alpha channel. For example just for that property. One could also only wish for a particular exif data to show.
