Unable to set time automatically

Thu May 20, 2010 9:15 am
In System Settings -> Date & Time when I check the checkbox to automatically set the time and authenticate as root, I get an error message: "Unable to contact time server: .". I have ntp installed. No firewall is running. What could be the problem?

Which version of KDE are you using? This was only fixed recently.

Can you please file a bug at bugs.kde.org?
