When I resume from suspend my touchpad settings are often disabled (though the touchpad still works with default settings). When I try to access them via systemsettings (root or not) the options are all greyed out. Some of them can be enabled via command line using synclient but not all of them and I get "format mismatch (32)" values for some settings.

I notice some other guy has the same problem here: http://old.nabble.com/touchpad-features ... 41654.html

I'm running Kubuntu 10.04, KDE 4.4.4.

Note that the Touchpad settings module is a 3rd party module supplied by your distributor by default from kde-apps.org.
