Installing PAM will not immediately solve this problem. I'will dig a bit more on this though.

Even using the kusers interface will give you the same outcome. set a `chage -W INT` warning period, that way the user can have a heads-up period, and they could still log in to be able to reset their passwd.

isn't good for me. I need full functional mechanism of the password management in the KDE (of course in Slackware).
