Permanently disable spell check with KNotes

Hello,
I have this problem with KNotes, I can't get it to disable spell checking! Even if I do, by right-clicking on a note and deselecting "Auto spell check", the next time KNotes starts spell check is enabled again.
Isn't there a way to permanently disable it?
By the way, I'm using KDE 4.4.3 (the one coming with Slackware 13.1).

This is likely to be a bug in KNotes, can you please file a bug at bugs.kde.org?
