Hi,

I have some scripts in ~/bin that I want to use in Krusader (for User Actions).
However, when I add ~/bin to the PATH in a konsole, this does not get picked up by Krusader (and other KDE applications).

Therefore: What is the correct way to permanently add ~/bin to the PATH in such a way that KDE-applications such as Krusader respect it?

You need to add an executable file into ~/.kde4/env/ which contains the following:

Code: Select all
export PATH=$HOME/bin:$PATH

It doesn't have to be executable as far as I know, but it has to have the .sh file name extension.

Cheers,
