digikam auto download

Fri Aug 06, 2010 11:26 am
For the life of me I'm not able to get my Canon ixus 400 to download pics into digikam. The camera is recognised when I plug it in. But the import function doesn't work as I recon it should. Can any one enlighten me as to what procedure I should use. I dont have any hassles offloading the pics in windoze, which frustrates me no end,as I prefer to be Linux user.
Any help will be very much appreciated.

The only task you should need to do is select the appropriate photos to download, then select "Download Selected" from the toolbar. If you are not seeing a dialog to do this, Click Import > Cameras > (Your Camera) in Digikam to open one

That is what I am doing, but the selection just disappears. When I click on it. So I suspect that there may be a bug in there somewhere.

That certainly seems like a bug, although I can't reproduce on my system...

If you use simply keyboard shortcuts ( such as Ctrl + A ) to select the items, is it still affected?
