Offline Quote Database Software

Wed Oct 13, 2010 9:57 pm
I'm looking for software (preferably made with qt4/kde) that will allow me to collect quotes into a database.

I've been using Tellico, but I've noticed that Tellico's speed at opening files has slowed down after adding just two quotes.

That leads me to believe that Tellico is not built for large blocks of text per-entry.

As a result, I am looking for software that is built for quotes.

With features such as
  • Exporting to common database formats (like .csv, sqlite, and others)
  • Tagging/Multiple Categories
  • Configurable and Deletable Fields (like Tellico)

Thanks for your help.

I would also be interested in such a program.

Thank you for the interest.

I realized I could simply ask the Tellico developer, if his software was built for large blocks of text.

Therefore, I have asked this question in the Tellico area of this board.

That MAY turn this thread into a duplicate; but I'll leave that up the discretion of the people in charge here.
